Wash cloths, probably 8-10. Burp Cloths-you can never have enough of them. I used cloth diapers as burp cloths and I have about 12 of them and have not had any problems. Good luck!

But seriously the second hand are more palatable than are softer they are washed.

Definitely more burp cloth wash cloths! I’m going through at least 5 burp cloths a day. Stock up on those especially if they want to be doing lots and lots of clothes (which is probably going to do anyway)

Let me tell you as a mother for the first time you can not have a lot of nothing.

So as much as possible and definitely more than 8-10 towels.

Burp cloths, perhaps 2 docenas.Lave rags that does not need much, baby bathed needs only once or twice a week and you can just use your hands for soap. Wal-Mart sells a 5 pack a piece of fabric for less than $ 1. Get one of those and you are set.

You can not have too many. I got dozens and dozens, and thought it was more way that I would need, but I use them all. My daughter is six months old and now is the queen of baba.Dependiendo of how often do (or want to do), Laundry, I would say at least two dozen of each wash cloths, burp cloths, and bibs. Actually, you can not have too many of them still in the kitchen, the bathroom, in the vehicle. Personally I think it is worrying that cleaned the drool, spit, etc with the blanket they are using.

I probably go to 5-6 a week doing laundry (though I have like 30! For some reason everyone gave me wash clothes when my son was born!). Burp Cloths Furthermore, I use a lot of! I have about 25 of them and use every one every week. My son has terrible reflux which is a large amount of saliva in our house! Good luck with your litte!
