Is there really a benefit to baby when you use cloth diapers?

I know it is better for the environment and a lot cheaper than disposables diapers, but is there really a benefit to the baby? My son wears disposables, and he has never had any issues with them, as long as you keep them dry and clean. I am just wondering what other pros there are to using cloth diapers? Baby cloth more
